Ingredients

Preparation

Notice: I don’t have the exact measurement it all depends on how much you make. Use one pack of seasoning for 3.5 L of water.

1. In a small pot cook beef honeycomb and tendons with a teaspoon of salt. Add water until it covers the ingredients. Bring to a boil, cover. Lower heat to slowly simmer until it’s tender enough for your taste. It usually takes about 2 to 3 hrs. If you don’t want to add these 2 items you can skip this step. Once done take out and wash. Set aside.

2. In a big pot, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and garlic. Lightly brown the garlic then add onions, ribs, and meat. Sauté it. In a bowl add the seasoning pk and a cup of water. Mix well and pour on to the meat pot. Continue to sauté for about 5 minutes. Add water to 2/3 of the pot. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat to low and simmer. How long depend on how tender you want the meat (about 2 hrs). Add all of the ingredients in together. Bring to a boil. Taste and adjust the flavor. Lower heat to low to simmer for another 15 minutes or until the carrots get tender. Shut off and enjoy ;-)

Tip: use salt, black pepper and lime for dipping sauce :)
