A traditional Lao recipe of minced beef meat mixed with a lot of herbs, fish sauce and chili that is usually prepared for special events.
Step 1. Stir fry the minced beef in the pan on medium heat.
Step 2. Let the meat cool down a bit, then add chopped garlic and red shallots. Season with fermented fish sauce, MSG, lime juice, chili, and roasted rice powder. Mix together and taste.
Step 3. Add cilantro, spring onion, and mint. Mix gently and serve on the dish. Eat with fresh vegetables, sliced cucumber and sticky rice. Zap!
