Khmer beef skewers

Khmer beef skewers is one of my favorite grill. I love eating with rice and cold beer :). This recipe is similar to the ones from street food in Phnom Penh.



1. Pound with a pestle and mortar, or blend finely the lemongrass, garlic, red shallots, galangal, kaffir lime leaves (thin slices), salt and sugar.

2. Bring a large bowl, add meat, and all ingredients and seasoning. Mix them well together. Marinate in the fridge at least 1 hour.

3. Make skewers and bring to broil or grill on the BBQ stove until brown. Ready to serve :)
