Have you ever tried cooking shrimp this way? Lao style ingredients with shrimp texture is incredibly delicious.

Ingredients

Preparation

1. Have a medium pot, add fermented fish sauce about 4 tbsp, and water about 6 tbsp. When it is boiling, add shrimps and cook about 5 minutes, then remove only the shrimps to a plate.

2. Roast chili, garlic, and red shallots. Then transfer to a mortar and pound roughly together with the cooked shrimps. Season with fermented fish sauce, fish sauce, msg, and lime. (if you don't like dry shrimps you can add the cooked sauce from the pot). Adjust the taste as you prefer by adding more lime or fish sauce.

3. At the end, add slices of green onion and coriander, gently mix together and serve with fresh lettuce, cucumber, or rice. Enjoy 😋
