This is Lao authentic grilled fish 🐟, it tastes the aroma herbs and spices 🌶️. Highly recommended to cook this menu then eat with sticky rice. So good! 🤗☺️
1. First of all, use a mortar and pestle to pound the chili with salt and MSG until fine. Then add ginger, garlic, red shallot, lemongrass, young green prickly-ash and pound finely.
2. Rub the salt over the fish, then add the pounded spices and herbs on, following with green onions, dill, dark purple flower-basil. Then close the fish tightly by bamboo sticks or any tools you have.
3. Bring to grill on charcoal (medium heat) about 30 minutes. Then open the grilled fish and serve with vegetables and hot sticky rice. Enjoy! Zap Lai Der :)
