Pork belly sweet sauce Lao style has been known since long time in Laos. It's always yummy in tummy every time i cook.
Step 1. Mix oil and sugar in a pan and cook until it caramelize with a brown color (use slow heat)
Step 2. Add red shallots and stir fry until it becomes yellow, then add the ginger and pork belly, pepper, salt, fish sauce and water.
Step 3. Add black soy sauce and hard boiled eggs (cooking with medium heat). Cook for about 45 to 60 minutes or until the water decreases by a third. Before turning of the fire, add MSG and taste to rectify the flavour as you like. Ready to serve. Zap :)
