The National Museum of the Old Palace of Luang Prabang was built between 1904 and completed in 1909. It was built during the reign of the French capital by French architects and the French government. It was built as a gift to the God of Life. The exhibition of the items used by the King of Laos in the past and the Buddha images discovered in the city of Luang Prabang are exhibited in the National Museum.

Phou Si is a hill about 150 meters high located in the center of the city of Luang Prabang. Later, Buddhist pilgrims came to live there.

Xiengthong Temple was built between 1559 and 1560 before King Xaysethathirat moved the capital from Luang Prabang to make Wang Nong Chan the capital of Lao Lan Chang province. This temple is located on the banks of the Mekong River, about 300 meters from the Khan River. It is a larger and more beautiful temple than the other temples in Luang Prabang. It has 3 overlapping roof structures with the finest features of Lao Lan Chang style architecture.

Vishun Temple was built in the year 1503 according to the order of King Vishunanat and was named after his own name. Vishun Temple is another old temple in Wong Phabang, it is more than 500 years old. The highlight of this temple is that there is Phra Chedi Pha Pathum (Big lotus flower or also known as Watermelon).

Kwang Xi Waterfall is about 25 kilometers from Luang Prabang city. It is a limestone waterfall about 70 meters high. It flows through the rock layer to the bottom of the pool, where you can swim in its azure blue water and take magnificent photos.

Pak Ou Cave (also known as Ting Cave) is a natural cave in the side of a mountain, located on the bank opposite the village of Pak Ou, where the water flows into the Mekong River, about 32 kilometers from the city of Luang Prabang, in the North. You can travel by boat from Luang Pranang town for about 2 hours or you can take a car to Nuang Yah village. It is a village by the river that brews traditional alcohol and weaves by hand, a typical craft to visit. Since ancient times, this Ting Cave has two parts, the upper cave and the lower cave. It was a sacred place to worship sky spirits, ghosts and angels of the past.
