Who likes eating duck? Lao stew style Or-Ped (Duck stew) is so wonderful dish because of the taste of Padek and the aroma of dill. OMG! what a perfect combination! Let's cook by following this recipe:)
Step 1. Pound finely the red shallot, garlic and chili together and then stir fry with oil until it brings aroma. Add the duck meat and stir a bit until it becomes light brown, add some fermented fish sauce (padek), add water, Khao beua, eggplants and boil for about 10 minutes, stir from time to time.
Step 2. Add green beans and ear mushrooms and cook more for about 5 minutes.
Step 3. Add MSG and salt and taste as you like. Add dill and green onions and serve immediately.
